Service delays in our network
Due to internal and external events, we are currently experiencing service disruptions, which could impact your temporary service delays across our network, some customers may experience impacts as follows:
Intra-European Express parcel shipping services:
FedEx and TNT Express Parcel shipments entering the network are expected to continue to experience a 24 to 48 hour delay vs. quoted transit times in the coming days.
Intra-European Express Freight and non-conveyable shipping services.
Effective Monday 11th April and until Monday 18th April, TNT Intra-European Express Freight (>68kg) and NonConveyable shipments are suspended.
Some Intra-European FedEx International Priority Freight (>68kg) shipments may temporarily face a 24 hour delay vs. quoted transit times whilst we continue to operate contingencies in our network.
Customers can continue to ship Intra-European Economy Freight (that moves by road) via both FedEx and TNT.
Intercontinental Economy Freight, FedEx International Priority (Express) Freight and non-conveyable shipping services:
Effective Monday 11th April and until Monday 18th April, TNT Economy and FedEx International Economy Freight (>68kg) and Non-Conveyable shipments outbound Europe to APAC, and inbound APAC to Europe are suspended.
Effective Monday 11th April and until Monday 18th April, FedEx International Priority (Express) Freight shipments from APAC to EU are suspended.
Effective Monday 11th April and until Monday 18th April, TNT Economy and FedEx International Economy Freight (>68kg) and Non-Conveyable shipments inbound from the US, Canada and LAC to Europe are suspended. • Customer can continue to ship International Economy Freight outbound from Europe to the US, Canada, and LAC.
Customers can continue to ship International Priority (Express) Freight to and from the US, Canada and LAC.
Germany Domestic
TNT Domestic Freight (Express & Economy) is suspended as of Wednesday, April 13th, for a minimum of two weeks until April 27. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure we can advise customers timely on the date of service reinstatement. Healthcare shipments are exempt from this temporary service suspension.
Update related to the services suspension from Europe to Shanghai region, China
On April 5th we communicated that due to the COVID-19 lockdown in China and the currently limited operations at Shanghai (PVG) Airport, until further notice, FedEx International Economy Freight, FedEx International Express Freight and TNT Express Freight shipments (heavy-weight >68kgs) were temporarily suspended from Europe to Shanghai region.
Effective April 11 the service suspension is extended to include all FedEx and TNT shipping services from Europe to Shanghai region until further notice.
